Adding a GPS module (VERSION 2)

The Akafugu Nixie Clock firmware for version 2 comes with GPS support built-in. Add a GPS unit to set time automatically!

There are several options for adding a GPS module:

  • Get the GPS module from the Akafugu Store.
  • Use an Adafruit Ultimate GPS module (all versions supported)
  • Use another GPS module

Akafugu GPS or Adafruit Ulitimate GPS module

These two devices share the same pinout (and use the same GPS module). There is a footprint on the control board that allows you to solder the GPS module directly.
